Nothing contained herein shall be construed to be a transfer of any copyrights.
Prints & Products
Each print or product is purchased as an 'individual piece of work {hereinafter referred to as 'work'} for personal use by the purchaser of that 'work'. The 'work' may not be copied or duplicated by any method now known or yet to be developed. The 'work' may not be licenced or sublicenced to any other party for any reason whatsoever.
The owner of the 'work' may transfer ownership of the 'work' to another party by way of selling the 'work' or giving the 'work' as a gift. However, all restrictions on copying and duplication of the 'work' will apply to the new owner and all future owners. Copyright of the 'work' remains firmly with the photographer PJ Morley.
Digital Downloads
Images purchased as digital downloads grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable Royalty Free licence to use the image in one of the following ways.
Allowed Uses
- On a website as long as the image is not used at a size larger than 800 pixels on the longest side.
- In a multimedia presentation. The image should be credited to PJ Morley and a statement made to the effect that the use of the image is restricted outside of the presentation.
- Incorporated into a film or video broadcast where the intended audience is no more than 500,000.
- Incorporated into software as long as the image is not available as a separate digital file i.e. as part of a slideshow.
- In a magazine, newspaper, book, book cover, CD or DVD cover or editorial or advertising run provided the number of copies made is not mare than 500,000.
- In letterheads, advertising, business or promotional items providing the image does not function as a trademark or logo either in full or in part.
- As part of advertising posters and campaigns to promote a product provided the image is accompanied by and combined with words or text and/or other images.
- In conjunction with electronic newsletters, advertising or promotional e-mail subject to the terms of use above and providing the recipients of such have opted in to receive such material.
- For making prints hard copies for personal use. Prints or hard copies may not be given or sold to any other party.
Restrictions
- A single download cannot be used for more than one of the 'allowed uses' given iabove. If you wish to use an image for more than one use then you should purchase the image for each individual use. For example if you wish to use an image to make personal prints and use the image for an advertising campaign, then you should purchase two copies.
- You may not use the image in connection with any service to designed to sell or induce 'print on demand' products such as t shirts, mugs, mouse mats, posters, prints, greeting cards etc.
- You may not sell or redistribute images in any way, either electronically or in hard copy as prints, posters, canvases or any other medium outside of the 'allowed uses' including website templates.
